How would it feel if you could give your teen practical tools and specific timelines as to what needs to be accomplished in order to plan for the future, know exactly what to do and how to get there?

What if your teens had a road map of the steps needed to get to their destination?

This is a 6 week group coaching online career program. The final coaching session is a one-on-one private session with teens and parents to "put it all together."

​

This class includes a workbook with coaching tools, timelines and rubrics to fill in while completing activities.

Why did I create this program?

 

To provide self-exploration in addition to exploring practical career opportunities. This program enables students to find work experiences as opposed to just thinking about what sounds good. 

 

This program offers a more hands on approach where students research and prepare to experience real work environments. Getting practical with seeking out professionals in various fields, interviewing them and asking curious questions, students become more confident and prepared in knowing what to do.

I have created a tremendous resource for students with a concrete plan, timeline and rubrics, showing what needs to be done by when. The workbook provides a clear guide for parents to support students.  

 

With regards to self awareness - knowing the "WHO I am" is crucially important before students explore their WHAT and WHERE options with a clearer picture in mind.

 

How can students know WHAT to do and WHERE to go before they know WHO they are?

• Greater self-awareness 

• Understanding of themselves through personality and career assessments

• Know how to set goals and follow through with smart actions

• Create a vision and future plan 

• Realize career options with regards to college, trades & entrepreneurship

• Explore internships, job shadowing and other work opportunities

• Conduct interviews with qualified personnel in their field of interest

• Join support networks & connect with relevant business people

• Research colleges & scholarships and connect with faculty

• Prepare resumes and e-portfolios

• Set up a website (for those interested)

• Learn business tips and tools from a young entrepreneur (my son)

These classes run during the SUMMER months of June and July. 

​

Weekly summer classes on either of these days:

 

Mondays at 2:00 pm PST time

Tuesdays at 10:00 am PST time
